Recruitment Schedule

Fall Primary Recruitment 2023 will run from August 24th to August 29th, and attached below is the daily schedule of what time each day starts and ends. On Sisterhood, Philanthropy, and Preference Night, PNMs (Potential New Members) will have breaks in their schedules and shouldn’t expect to be going to recruitment parties the entire day. There are lunch breaks during Sisterhood and Philanthropy, as well as a a fifteen minute break between each party. There is also a wellness room provided to all PNMs where they can choose to spend their breaks, have snacks, air conditioning, and more. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions - we know this might be complicated and are here to help! Email or DM us on Instagram.

Exact times will be released later in the summer but you can assume that all events will be in the late evening. If a PNM has a conflict and will be unable to attend a recruitment event, they will fill out the PNM Conflict Form that will be sent to all registered PNMs.

Each day of recruitment has different expectations for PNMs and what they should anticipate happening. Check out the detailed outline on the Recruitment Schedule Page. The following outlines what occurs each day and how a PNM can expect a day to go.

August 26th - 2nd Round of Recruitment Events (Sisterhood Day)

9:30 am to 7 pm:

The second round of recruitment events will happen on Saturday, August 26th. This round will look and feel different than the first 2 days, because from this point forward every single Potential New Member (PNMs) will have their own and unique ‘schedule’ of Sorority chapters that they will be invited to visit. On this day, you could be invited back to up to 10 chapters’ events. This means the maximum number of events you could potentially be invited to is capped at 10, and it also means you may be invited to less than 10. All PNMs are expected to attend all (and only) the events to which they are invited - choosing not to attend will result in being dismissed from Sorority Recruitment.

August 27th- 3rd Round of Recruitment Events (Philanthropy Day)

9:30 am - 6 pm:

The third round of recruitment events will happen on Sunday, August 27th. On this day, you could be invited back to up to 6 different Sororities. This means the maximum number of events you could potentially be invited to is capped at 6, and it also means you may be invited to less than 6. All PNMs are expected to attend all (and only) the events to which they are invited - choosing not to attend will result in being dismissed from Sorority Recruitment.

August 28th - Final Round of Recruitment Events (Preference)

6 pm - 10:35 pm:

The final round of recruitment events will happen on Monday, August 28th. On this day, you could be invited back to up to 2 different Sororities. This means the maximum number of events you could potentially be invited to is capped at 2, and it also means you may be invited to less than 2. All PNMs are expected to attend all (and only) the events to which they are invited - choosing not to attend will result in being dismissed from Sorority Recruitment.

August 29th - Bid Day

6:30 pm onwards:

Bid Day is the culmination of the Panhellenic Recruitment Process - and a time to celebrate. On this day, Potential New Members will receive their invitations to memberships - otherwise known as a ‘Bid’. What chapter offers a bid to you will depend on what chapters you visit during the final round of recruitment. That means that you are only eligible to receive a bid from a chapter who’s preference round event you are invited to and attended.
